What appears to be a suicide bomber has hit Manchester Arena after the Ariana Grande concert.
Reports of the bombing shortly after the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena have come in drips and drabs, but what we currently know according to The Guardian is the following: The death toll has risen to 22, which unfortunately includes children attending the concert. A further 59 people are injured and receiving treatment in eight hospitals across Greater Manchester. Police believe the attack was carried out by one man, and are investigating if he was part of a wider network. The man died at the scene after detonating an explosive device – a suicide bomber.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of those affected by this tragic act of terrorism. It is in these times that we must stand together.
